HEALTHCARE
We’ve worked extensively telling stories of public, nonprofit, and community health. This piece is one of more than a dozen that we’ve created for Blue Ridge Health. With a rich legacy spanning six decades, Blue Ridge Health has been at the heart of our community, nurturing health and well-being through a wide spectrum of offerings.
PHILANTHROPY
Community foundations and resource aggregators are the engines that empower nonprofits. We created this Hulu spot as part of a series of videos promoting and celebrating the work being done by the Community Foundation of Henderson County. As part of this campaign, we provided photography services alongside our turn-key video production.
ADVOCACY & AWARENESS
This project, created in partnership with THCGME, MAHEC, and Blue Ridge Health, shares the story of how Teaching Health Centers are expanding access to care in rural Western North Carolina. Through the voices of patients, providers, and healthcare leaders, the film highlights programs that ensure essential services like prenatal care remain available where they’re needed most.
KinoLore handled the full production process, from concept and interviews to final edit, crafting a story that celebrates the people and partnerships working every day to close gaps in healthcare access and strengthen their communities.
Conservation
We love to tell stories of the unseen and under-appreciated. We created this documentary following a NC Wildlife bat biologist as an education and advocacy tool. We believe telling stories that educate and inspire is an effective way to promote positive change.
ANIMATED STORYTELLING
Partnering with Blue Ridge Health, we used a blend of animation and live action to promote their psychosocial rehabilitation (PSR) program. This hybrid storytelling approach allowed us to honor the dignity and privacy of participants while crafting an engaging, accessible piece that brings visibility to a vital mental health service.
DISASTER RELIEF
In times of crisis, clear and compassionate storytelling becomes a lifeline. We’ve partnered with organizations to document disaster relief efforts that bring hope and help to communities facing devastation. From hurricane recovery to wildfire response, our films capture the resilience of survivors and the dedication of those who serve on the front lines.

"TIME & COLOR" is a portrait of the life and artistic journey of Jean Claude Roy, a prolific expressionist-colorist artist who has spent decades capturing the landscapes and communities of Newfoundland & Labrador.
Weary of the modern-day rush, Jean Claude packs his canvas and sets out for Battle Harbour. Surrounded by the broken and abandoned structures of a once vibrant fishing outpost, he explores his own life and legacy as he paints and listens to the stories of locals.
This film was award nominated at the Vancouver Short Film Festival and will be aired for the next 4 years on Newfoundland TV.

EDUCATION
Drawing on our experience producing impactful content for the education sector, KinoLore Productions partnered with Constructive Learning Design to create a series of videos for the P20 Council’s Careers That Build Communities hub. The program connects students in WNC with career opportunities through stories, work-based learning experiences, potential employers, and other resources.
